Dear Blossom Studios is the photographic “community garden” tended by Emma Rizzo and Sammi Cohen, two Rochester-based creatives with a love for natural beauty. Formed in August of 2019, the studio space is located in the heart of the Flower City – with the industrial Fedder Building providing a uniquely versatile backdrop for many of our sessions.

Emma Rizzo - Photographer
Since she first picked up a camera as a teenager, Emma Rizzo has been passionate about engaging with others through imagery. Specializing in portraiture, Emma strives to create natural photographs that capture everyday magic. She believes that everybody and every body deserves to feel comfortable in front of the camera, and puts personal connection at the center of her craft.
While most of her work is behind the camera, Emma commits to breaking this barrier and interacting with her clients through each session. Through playful collaboration and steady encouragement, she provides a secure environment overcome insecurity and bloom into your truest self.
Sammi Cohen - Creative Director
An actor, singer, vintage style blogger, and digital marketing content writer, Sammi relishes any opportunity to tell a compelling story. Whether she's developing a new character on stage, exploring another side of herself through fashion, or delving into the unique messaging of a particular brand, her distinctive voice manages to be both genuine and fanciful at once.
With her keen eye for design and her theatrical background, Sammi loves working with clients to bring concepts to life. During your session, she'll ensure you feel relaxed and confident.
